Sunday is a great day to spend an afternoon cleaning out a closet, and sending donations to charity of once treasured items that have gone out of style or no longer fit. My home is a sanctuary were my children, my husband, and I take refuge. We have a sense of belonging, and our home feels and looks comfortable. With Spring around the corner, we look forward to getting our homes ready for the new season. That, of course, means different things to different people. For me it means going room to room in my home and creating a "hit list". This list includes all things that need to be done to make each room as functional, clean and comfortable as possible. Cleaning, purging, redoing outdated bookshelves, updating pillows, etc... I try to complete one room at a time asking myself,"How does this room serve our family the best?". This can mean simple changes or a complete overhaul. Whatever that may be make a "hit list", create a timeline for completion, and get started!!
